iTunes

iTunes is a full-featured digital media player application, introduced by Apple in January, 2001 for organizing and playing video files and digital music. iTunes can connect to the iTunes Store in order to purchase and download music videos, digital music, iPod games, television shows, audiobooks, ringtones, feature length films, and various podcasts. Its features include an MP3 and AAC encoder, "smart" playlists, a CD burner, rating of songs, search functionality, a volume level optimizer, iPod file transfer management, visualization, and much more. iTunes is a free download for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X from Apple's website.
