iTunes Library

The iTunes Library is an index of all music, video files and audio book that iTunes uses to organize your music. It is a simple collection of data files and folders. All the data is stored by iTunes in two primary files: the iTunes library xml and the iTunes library. The iTunes library is usually stored in your home music library. The rating information and playcount is also stored. The iTunes Library file is only used by iTunes.
