iTunes Store

The iTunes Store is an online store run by Apple which sells media files that can be stored, organized and viewed with the iTunes application. The iTunes Music Store made its debut on April 28, 2003 and soon after became the first online music store to gain widespread media attention. The Itunes Store has been on a solid trajectory ever since its launch and reached a number of three billion songs sold as of July 2007. The iTunes Store now features more than 100,000 free podcasts, 6 million 99¢ songs, 600 TV shows, 30,000 audiobooks, 500 movies, and iPod games.
